The golf helix is a senior design project through the Human Centered Design Studio (HCDS) at the Colorado School of Mines. The golf helix is a device that allows transradial amputees the ability to play golf and have fun! The current design is 3D resin printed and stress tested using FEA through SolidWorks. Our client and sponsor, Bob Radocy, a transradial amputee himself, helped by giving us valuable feedback and looks to manufacture the helix through Fillauer TRS inc. in which Bob is the executive vice president. We are excited to show the world our latest prototype!
