In Part 2 of this five-part mini series “Innovation Through Design: Think, Make, Break, Repeat”, designers from Atlassian, Design + Industry and Wunderman-Bienalto discuss:
the role of users and other stakeholders and how to consider them in the design process,
how human-centred design drives innovation,
approaches to research and problem-solving,
methods for identifying and understanding stakeholders, snd
how to turn data collected during the research and discovery process into ideas.
The case studies were filmed as part of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) with the title “Innovation Through Design: Think, Make, Break, Repeat” available via Coursera, produced by the University of Sydney’s School of Architecture, Design and Planning with support from the University of Sydney and funded through the NSW Department of Industry’s Boosting Business Innovation Program.
We are making the case study videos available for free as a resource for all the design educators and design students out there that are moving to an online learning mode due to the impact of COVID-19.
